Started with one espresso machine and a dream
James Miller opened the shop in 2009 after a trip to Colombia changed the way he thought about coffee. What started as a tiny 10-seat corner spot has grown into a Brooklyn institution.
We source directly from five family farms, pay above fair-trade rates, and never roast more than we sell in a week.
